A Programming Language for Design, Theo Ford, 2015-10-13

Inspired by the workshop in which, we tried to express the constraints on creativity through the form of visual symbols and equations. I thought an alternative mode of representation could be to devise a programming language, that reflected the processes of negotiating the constraints within which we operated, that could account for any kinds of variables such as ‘brief’, ‘resources’, and ‘point-of-view’.

The qualitative ‘creative space’, and my subjective reaction to that space in relation to two projects, a good and a bad, is expressed through the limited emotive syntactical means of code in the form of a smiley.
